My personal favorite way to exercise is through group fitness classes! There are tons of different exercise classes to meet your needs. If you’re into yoga, there’s a class for that! If you’re into boxing, there’s a class for that! If you’re into dance, there’s a class for that! The list goes on and on.
The first step in group classes is to find which format you want to take. Group classes are great because you’re surrounded by others who are into the same type of classes as you – so your class already has that in common! Being able to relate to others builds a sense of community and leads to confidence.
You can always bring your friends to classes or attend alone – either way, taking group classes helps with confidence, being in a room full of people all with the same goal supporting one another. Every single person who goes to a fitness class is there to ultimately work out. Therefore, everyone is supportive and encouraging to create a positive environment for the class.
The instructor also guides the class. The instructor will be there cheering each and every one of you, helping build on that confidence you’re receiving from your classmates. Having an instructor lead a group fitness class encourages everyone to support one another and put your all into that class. It’s an amazing feeling to take a group fitness class!
