Couch to 5K was one of the very first things that introduced me to running. Several years ago, I started couch25k with my then 8-year-old daughter. When I say I started, I mean I started over several times, too. If you're not familiar with couch25k, it's a training program for very beginning athletes who want to learn how to run a 5k. It incorporates 9 weeks of running training as well as rest days in there. Couch to 5K is a wonderful program for anyone who wants to complete their first 5k this year.
